Zupherion (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website Zupherion.com, a catalog of browser-playable games. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Technical & usage data (necessary to run the site): IP address (short-lived), device and browser type, language, referrer, timestamps, pages viewed, error logs.
  • Interaction data (to improve discovery): local preferences such as liked/hidden tags, session-length filters, last-played items. When possible, these are stored only in your browser (e.g., localStorage).
  • Communications: content of messages you send us (support requests, feedback), and our replies.
  • Cookies & similar tech: strictly necessary cookies for security and load balancing; optional analytics cookies (see Section 4). We do not use invasive tracking or build advertising profiles.

We do not require an account to play, and we do not knowingly collect special categories of data.

4) Cookies, Local Storage & Controls

  • Strictly necessary: used for core functions (e.g., load balancing, security). These run without consent and expire quickly.
  • Analytics (optional): help us measure visits and performance; set only with your consent.
  • Local storage (on your device only): saves game preferences, last-played list, and session filters; you can clear these via your browser.
 You can manage cookies in the banner and change your browser settings to block or delete them.

5) Sharing & International Transfers

  • Processors: hosting, content delivery networks, error/uptime monitoring, and (if enabled) privacy-respecting analytics providers. They act under data-processing agreements and may be located in the EU/EEA or in countries offering adequate protection.
  • No sale of personal data. We do not share data with advertisers for targeted ads.
  • Third-party games/links: When you open a game hosted by another provider, their privacy terms apply. We encourage you to review them.
 If data is transferred outside the EEA, we use safeguards such as the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6) Your Rights, Retention & Children

  • Retention: technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations; support communications are retained as required by law or until your request is resolved. Preferences stored locally remain on your device until you delete them.
  • Children: our catalog is intended for a general audience and includes age-appropriate titles; however, we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 without parental consent.
  • Changes: material updates to this policy will be posted here with a new effective date.
